In 1996 Pepijn Wilbers and Frodo Terpstra founded Terpstra and Wilbers. They produced their own documentaries and corporate films. Barend Verheijen introduced multimedia to the company in 2001. The company's name changed to TWV media. TWV produced documentaries and multimedia for museums. In 2009 TWV media decided to specialize in project work for museums and became Museumstudio. Terpstra decided to specialize in documentaries with his own production company, Duinzandfilm.
Pepijn founded TWV media in 1996, together with Frodo Terpstra. He previously worked for an advertising agency. Together with Barend Verheijen he is responsible for nearly all the projects at Museumstudio. That doesn't stop him from disappearing to the editing room, from time to time.
Barend Verheijen worked as coördinator at the Germany insitute of Amsterdam and was a researcher at Clingendael (Institute of international relations) before joining TWV media. Together with Pepijn Wilbers, he is responsible for the creative leadership of Museumstudio. Barend will sometimes programme some of the applications himself.
Rik has worked at Museumstudio since October 2008. He was previously project manager and editor at Anno, an organization that promotes awareness of Dutch history. He has also written film reviews for the Filmkrant, a leading cinema magazine in the Netherlands. As creative project manager, he is responsible for the bigger productions at Museumstudio.
